After 42 years at 100 Franklin Street, the Roxy Regional Theatre is closing the curtain on an era.
A Christmas Carol, opening December 5th, will be the final show in this historic building before the theatre relocates during construction of the new Clarksville Performing Arts Center.
This isn't just another holiday production—it's your last chance to experience the magic in the space that's been Clarksville's entertainment cornerstone since the early 1900s.
Whether you've been going to the Roxy for decades or you've been meaning to check it out "someday," this is it.
Don't miss your chance to be part of theatre history before they turn off the lights on Franklin Street for good. Read More... |
Picture this: puppies at a distillery. Mikaela's Mutt Motel brought some of their rescue dogs to Old Glory Distilling Co.'s Silo Park recently, and the results were heartwarming.
Among them was Buttah, part of a baker's dozen of puppies rescued from deplorable conditions in a tiny Kentucky kennel. With his Pitbull mom and suspected Corgi or Basset Hound dad, Buttah's got short legs and a big story.
Two pups found families that day, and more dogs are still waiting for theirs.
Founded by Army veteran Mikaela Lambert in 2022, this local nonprofit has already rescued and placed over 100 dogs—specializing in the ones most shelters overlook.
If you've ever thought about adding a four-legged family member, this is the kind of local organization worth knowing about. Read More... |

Ever wonder what happens inside that massive LG factory off I-24?
Turns out, it's not just making washing machines—it's making history.
The World Economic Forum just named LG's Clarksville plant a "Lighthouse Factory," recognizing it as one of the most technologically advanced manufacturing facilities on the planet.
We're talking private 5G networks, hundreds of robots, and a production line that can switch between washer models in minutes.
The million-square-foot facility produces over a million washers a year and runs entirely on renewable energy.
But here's what really matters for Clarksville: this kind of advanced manufacturing is drawing more high-tech companies to our area and creating career opportunities that didn't exist here five years ago.
Want to see what the future of manufacturing looks like? It's happening right here in our backyard. Read More... |
